The Noose of Time

Time is a noose
When young apparently tight
And actually quite loose
Many things to do
And deadlines to meet.
There is enough time
One is often told
To do all you want
But right now do what you have to do.
When retired time is a plenty
There is little to do and a lot to spare
To do all one wants to do
The noose hangs apparently loose
And yet is actually tight
Soon strangles and make one rue
Oh that I had done what I wanted to do!
Creatures of Time are we it seems
While all the while we are
The Creators, Truth beams
Beyond its touch indeed are you
Fake was its grip and fake its threat
The veil is lifted the Seer sees through. |
