Thank you for…by Shunyaa TsaiEditor's Note:it's a beautiful morning and we have a beautiful group for cleaning SVBji's new library. and all of them did it in silence. no matter where we are, what we do, which country we come from... we thank the Himalayan tradition for bringing us together - we breath together, we work together and enjoy our silence together... Shunyaa (Tsai Shan-Mei) has been a student in the Swami Rama Dhyana Gurukulam and is a resident at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama (SRSG) in Rishikesh, India. When she is back home in Taiwan, she spends most of her time in the mountains where she grew up. She spent the first 6 years of her life in the mountains living with her grandparents. Her university degree is in Visual Communication Design. Before coming to India, she worked as a part-time yoga teacher and a kindergarten teacher. She spent this last summer in Minneapolis at the Meditation Center and is part of the Meditative Voice Project team in which all participants translate Swami Veda’s meditations into their own languages. This fall she has been doing sewa for Swami Veda. Shunya has written about her gurukulam experiences at SRSG; the article will be in a future newsletter.
