Dear Initiate and Friend,
We warmly invite you to join us in a sacred event, the Navaratra Devi-Puja. We, the residents at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama (SRSG), will join with akhanda (non-stop) recitation of Lalita-sahasra-nama (Thousand Names of Divine Mother) for nine days and nights during this special celebration from October 17 - 25, 2020. These events are charged with special spiritual energy and a very special time to renew your silence and sadhana.
While we know you are unable to join us physically at the ashram, we miss your presence during this auspicious time at the ashram.
At an unprecedented time like this, with covid, the many environmental disasters, and the pain and anguish amongst the hearts of those who have suffered from physical illness or other forms of violence, etc., we come together to pray. Begin with a sankalpa, applying your practice as a newly found strength of mind that assuages the pains of other minds. With understanding and compassion, a sense of love and peace expands to the minds of our universal family.
We feel the abundance of blessings of the Mother Divine is available everywhere equally and I pray that you continue to feel her loving, gentle, and serene presence in your hearts at all times.
In this spirit, we invite you to join us to offer your prayers to the Divine Mother, as we begin our celebrations at the ashram via zoom sessions. We will try to make sure maximum people can join the programme, however seats will be limited; do make your plans to join the sessions soon and let the AHYMSIN Office know.
There will be a live stream of the pujas at Maa Tara temple on Facebook, along with live classes on zoom on the Divine Mother principle in the Himalayan Tradition, along with an introduction to the Lalita-sahasra-nama and significance of the puja rituals and how to internalize these sacred rituals within oneself.
May we all learn to invoke peace in our own minds and thereby evoke it in the hearts of even those who are resisting or our opponents. May we all learn to forgive. May the minds, prone to fear and violence in so many forms, learn the art of solving problems through non-violence and may there be mutual understanding amongst people of divergent views and interests everywhere. May the Saintly-minds of humanity continue to guide us in this direction.
We look forward to sharing this auspicious event together. May the grace and infinite compassion of Mother Divine fill your hearts.
With love and blessings,
Swami Ritavan Bharati
