Swami Veda Bharati has been one of the highest level world class exponents of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali in the late 20th and early 21st centuries This seminar will continue Swamiji’s tradition and legacy of interpreting from the point of view of a practitioner this most unique text which codified and systematized yoga philosophy. With several segments of this seminar held in the next few years in the month of February, the emphasis of this first seminar will be the overview of the text, including its different chapters, sections and topics, as well as the foundational principles of Sankhya philosophy, which are mandatory to master to get entry into the deeper meanings of the sutras. The first chapter, Samadhi Pada, will also be covered in detail along with the most important points from Sage Vyasa’s commentary.

Swami Ritavan Bharati guided the AHYMSIN Sangha into a new mantra practice for the next 3 years during the 2019 Sangha Gathering, which was held February 25 - March 5, 2019, at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama (SRSG).
The mantra is the Saumyā mantra combined with a Tārā mantra. The first 2 lines of the mantra are the Saumyā mantra, and the third line is the Tārā mantra.
सौम्या सौम्यतराशेष सौम्येभ्यस्त्वतिसुन्दरी ।
परापराणां परमा त्वमेव परमेश्वरी ॥
तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा.
saumyā saumyātarāśeṣa saumyebhyas tvati sundarī ,
parāparāṇāṁ paramā tvameva parameśvarī.
tāre tut tāre ture svāhā.
